第125届广交会召开开幕新闻发布会

    4月14日上午,第125届中国进出口商品交易会开幕新闻发布会在广州广交会展馆举行。广交会新闻发言人、中国对外贸易中心副主任徐兵向与会的境内外媒体介绍本届广交会的特点、亮点和总体筹备情况。
    徐兵说,今年是新中国成立70周年,是决胜全面建成小康社会关键之年。当前,全球经济增速放缓,贸易保护主义抬头,我国外贸发展面临的环境更趋复杂严峻,稳外贸工作任务艰巨。办好第125届广交会,对于推动外贸供给侧结构性改革、加快培育外贸竞争新优势、实现全年外贸稳中提质的目标任务具有重要意义。
    徐兵说,第125届广交会以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导,全面贯彻党的十九大和十九届二中、三中全会精神,全面贯彻落实习近平总书记致广交会贺信精神,根据中央经济工作会议和全国商务工作会议部署,坚持稳中求进工作总基调,坚持新发展理念,按照高质量发展要求,深入推进供给侧结构性改革,持续优化展览结构、提高组展质量,全面提升专业化、国际化、市场化和信息化水平,着力打造全方位对外开放平台,为促进外贸稳中提质、推动经贸强国建设和开放型经济发展作出新的贡献。
    徐兵介绍,第125届广交会展览规模保持稳定,总体格局不变。展览总面积为118.5万平方米,展位总数60,651个。继续分三期举办,第一期举办时间为4月15-19日,主要展出电子及家电、照明、车辆及配件、机械、五金工具、建材、化工、能源类产品;第二期举办时间为4月23-27日,主要展出日用消费品、礼品、家居装饰品类产品;第三期举办时间为5月1-5日,主要展出纺织服装、鞋、办公箱包及休闲用品、医药及医疗保健、食品类产品。
    本届广交会出口展按16大类商品设置51个展区,展位总数59,651个。品牌展位12,125个,占20.33%;一般性展位47526个,占79.67%。参展企业24,846家,第一期参展企业8,708家,第二期7,511家,第三期8,627家。
    本届广交会继续在第一、三期设立进口展, 展览总面积2万平方米,共设6个产品区,展位总数1000个。共有来自38个国家和地区的650家企业参展,有10个国家和地区展团。
    徐兵说,本届广交会在第124届广交会品牌展位评审和展区结构优化的基础上,继续优化参展结构,提升专业化水平,提高组展质量。一是提升组展规范化水平。全面完善广交会组展系列规章制度,积极推进组展制度建设,探索优化广交会参展情况报告指标。二是提高参展质量。执行参展企业更新率5%的规定,行业龙头企业积极参展,品牌企业达2,296家,产品更新率超过30%。拥有自主知识产权、自主品牌、自主营销网络的参展企业和高科技含量、高附加值、绿色低碳的参展产品显著增多。三是提升组展专业化水平。优化展品专区,在41个展区设置展品专区153个。
    徐兵表示,本届广交会根据中国市场和海外企业的需求,全力办好进口展,发挥开放型平台作用。一是吸引境外优质企业参展,来自美国、英国、德国、日本等国家的电子及家电、建材及五金、机械设备、食品及饮料行业的众多行业标杆和国际领军企业参展。二是“一带一路”沿线企业为进口展最大参展主体,共有21个沿线国家和地区的383家企业参展,沿线企业占比达到六成。三是举办进口展国际合作交流会,以粤港澳大湾区建设规划纲要发布为契机,组织大湾区有关商务部门、外国驻穗领馆、境内外商协会、境外贸易促进机构、境外招展合作机构共谋合作商机,促进大湾区内外商务资源的融合交流。四是加大国内专业采购商邀请力度,坚持线上线下相结合,利用社交媒体和政府及行业资源,加大对各大型商超、电商平台、进口超市等专业采购团体的邀请。
    徐兵介绍,本届广交会坚持“创新、专业、精准、精细”的营销和招商理念,按照专业展区和目标市场相结合的原则,精准开展全球营销推广和采购商邀请活动,努力实现采购商与会更便捷、交易更安全、收获更丰厚的目标。一是创新模式,开展全球营销。通过脸书、领英等六大国际知名社交媒体和搜索引擎进行全球推广,在全球专业媒体精准投放广告。二是开展专业精准的招商活动。结合专业展区和目标市场,因区因国施策,赴全球21个国家和地区开展宣传推广活动;在美国、欧盟、“一带一路”沿线等18个国家举办19场视频招商活动;拓展广交会全球合作伙伴计划,深化与全球71个国家和地区121家工商机构的合作;完善“参展企业、采购商邀请采购商”活动激励机制,加大对新采购商的精准邀请力度。三是整合资源,提供精细服务。加大与国际航空公司等有关机构的跨界合作力度,为采购商食住行提供更多便利和实惠;加强重要客户关系管理,提供个性化服务,提高采购商忠诚度;拓展贸易服务的形式和内容,举办供采对接活动。
    徐兵说,本届广交会继续强化资讯交流服务,充分发挥多功能综合平台作用,服务外贸高质量发展。一是举办各类高端会议论坛。将组织20场主题论坛,涵盖全球贸易形势分析、贸易风险控制、设计创新、检验检测、品质控制、色彩趋势等多个领域。其中,以中俄建交70周年为契机,与俄罗斯驻穗领馆和《财经》杂志合作举办广交会(俄罗斯)国际市场论坛,探讨中俄合作商机。二是强化广交会出口产品设计奖导向作用。开展新一轮广交会出口产品设计奖评选活动,以“引导创新、树立标杆、打造品牌”为目标,以“权威、专业、公正、有效”为标准,完善评审机制,优化评委结构,评选出具有突出设计价值的出口产品,发挥标杆示范作用。三是促进地方开放型经济发展。将为30多个省市地区举办50多场形式多样的展示、产业推介和贸易对接活动,安排8个地方产业集群集中参展。四是增强设计促进贸易活动实效。来自15个国家和地区的约100家优秀设计机构参与设计展示,为参会企业提供设计服务,举办系列设计活动,助力提升中国企业和中国制造的设计水平。
    徐兵表示,本届广交会继续坚持预防与现场受理两手抓,加强知识产权保护,促进创新发展。一是宣传知识产权保护理念。归纳提炼广交会知识产权保护工作的成效、经验和典型案例,营造“尊重知识、崇尚创新、诚信守法”的氛围,确保知识产权保护理念在广大参展企业中落地生根。二是健全预防机制。加强展前审核,组织企业自纠,展中涉案函告,实现各展区各环节无死角、全覆盖。三是提升专业服务水平。邀请广东省、广州市知识产权执法部门和贸易纠纷仲裁、调解专家驻会,各商协会派专员协助,保证案件处理严格规范、公平公正。四是优化办案环境。改善现场办公环境,提升投诉接待站形象和辨识度,为权利人开展维权提供便利。
    徐兵说,本届广交会继续深入推进智慧广交会建设,加快广交会数字化转型。推出网络无感知认证功能,优化改进无线上网体验;开通手机终端报送成交统计功能,参展企业可以通过微信小程序填报当日成交情况;按统一风格优化整合信息驿站,形成各站点分布合理、相互支撑的良好格局;丰富大数据看板展示内容,优化广交会展馆地图展示形式;改进办理证件系统、引入人脸识别技术、试点采用新型“非接触”IC卡验证机,使进馆验证流程更加便捷高效。
    徐兵说,本届广交会全面系统实施《广交会绿色发展2.0计划》,进一步提升绿色发展水平。一是推进绿色标准体系建设。编制会展业国家标准和绿色特装材料推荐目录,推动《绿色展台评价指南》《绿色展览运营指南》和《展览场馆安全管理基本要求》三个国家标准早日出台。二是强化示范引领作用。优化绿色展位奖颁奖模式,丰富奖励内容和形式,提高整体展示水平;举办广交会“绿色时空”展演活动,分享企业绿色创新应用经验。三是加强展览废弃物管控。全面推广展位专业型材的使用,制定展览固体废物分类处理办法,强化全流程管控,减少展览垃圾排放。
    徐兵说,本届广交会根据商务脱贫攻坚工作总体部署,采取系列务实举措深入推进商务精准扶贫。一是免收贫困地区参展企业展位费。预计将有超过700家次的企业免费参展。二是继续设立贫困地区特色产品展区。展位数量190个,共有来自22个省市的170家企业参展,展示服装、箱包、食品等相关题材的特色产品。三是开展贫困地区特色产品展区专场推介活动。为进一步提升贫困地区特色产品展区展览效果,将于第三期首日举办专场推介活动,免费宣传推介该展区的企业和产品。四是完善贸易洽谈服务。加强展区导向,继续为贫困地区参展企业提供免费翻译服务,做好成交指导和参展培训工作,全力支持贫困地区企业开拓国际市场。
    同时,为帮助企业降低费用,本届广交会继续对所有参展企业按照第119届降低后的标准收取展位费,继续减免23项现场服务项目费用,免费统一铺设地毯,切实为企业减负降费。
    徐兵表示,本届广交会牢固树立安全发展理念,坚守安全底线,全力确保展会平稳运营。与广东省、广州市有关部门联动协作,构建全面的安全防控体系;强化安全生产监管,运用大数据手段构建“全方位、立体化、全天候”的安全防控体系;加强展位使用管理,加大“黑中介”打击力度,快速、阳光处理展位纠纷;加强现场施工、展馆防火和用电管理,细化工作流程,堵塞安全漏洞;完善各类应急处置预案,提升应急处理能力。
    徐兵还就广交会服务外贸稳中提质、推进“一带一路”经贸合作、进口展亮点、推进商务精准扶贫、服务国家发展战略、采购商到会情况等问题回答了与会记者的提问。

The 125th Canton Fair holds opening press conference

 

   The Press Conference for the opening of the 125th session of China Import and Export Fair was held in Canton Fair Complex in the morning of April 14th. Mr. Xu Bing, spokesperson of the Canton Fair, Deputy Director General of China Foreign Trade Centre, introduced the characteristics, highlights and preparation of this session to press from home and abroad.
   Xu Bing introduced that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, a crucial year to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects. At present, world economic growth has slowed and trade protectionism has been on the rise. China faces more complex and severe environment in foreign trade development and arduous tasks to achieve stable growth of foreign trade. To hold the 125th Canton Fair successfully is of great significance to drive the supply-side structural reform of foreign trade, accelerate developing new competitive advantages and achieving the yearly goal of stable and quality growth of foreign trade.
   In the 125th session, we will follow the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and implement the spirit of the 19th CPC Congress, the second and third plenary sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the instructions of President Xi’s congratulatory letter. According to Central Economic Work Conference and National Commerce Work Conference, we will stick to the principle of maintaining stability while pursuing progress, and implement new development concepts. To pursue high-quality development, we will advance supply-side reform in deep structure, optimize exhibition structure and improve exhibition quality, continue to improve Canton Fair’s specialization, market-orientation, information technology application and international development, and build a platform for all-round opening up. Therefore we will make new contribution to the stable and quality growth of foreign trade, to the building of a strong trading nation and the open economic development.
   Xu Bing introduced that the whole arrangement of the 125th Canton Fair remains the same and exhibition size steady. The 125th session will still be held in three phases with a total exhibition area of 1.185 million square meters and 60,651 booths. Phase 1 starts from April 15th to 19th, exhibiting Electronics and Household Electrical Appliances, Lighting Products, Vehicles Spare Parts, Machinery, Hardware & Tools, Building Materials, Chemical Products and Energy Products. Phase 2 starts from April 23rd to 27th, showing Daily Consumer Goods, Gifts and Home Decoration Products. Phase 3 starts from May 1st to 5th, showing Textile and Garment, Shoes, Cases and Bags, Recreation Products, Medicine and Healthcare Products and Food.
16 categories of products will be exhibited in 51 sections. In this session, there are 59,651 booths in the National Pavilion. The booth arrangement is: 12,125 brand booths and 47,526 regular booths, taking up 20.33% and 79.67% respectively. There are altogether 24,846 exhibitors: 8708 in Phase 1, 7511 in Phase 2, and 8627 in Phase 3.
   The International Pavilion will be set up in Phase 1 and Phase 3, with an area of 20,000 square meters. There are 1000 booths and 6 product zones, and 650 enterprises and 10 national and regional delegations from 38 countries and regions.
   Xu said that on the basis of brand booth selection and structural optimization of sections in the 124th session, we will continue to optimize the mix of exhibitors and specialization to improve quality of exhibition organization. Improve the standardization of exhibition organization. We’ve comprehensively improved series of regulation on exhibition organization and promoted relevant system building, made attempts on optimizing Canton Fair exhibit report indicator. Improve quality of exhibitors. We stick to the 5% exhibitors’ update ratio. Leading companies of various industries make active participation with 2296 brand companies and over 30% new product. We’ve witnessed more exhibitors with self-owned patents, brands and marketing, as well as more products of high technological content, high added value and environmentally friendly products. Improve specialization of exhibition organization. We’ve further optimized sub-dividing sections and set up 153 product zones in 41 sections.
   According to the needs of Chinese market and overseas companies, we will set up the International Pavilion and play the role of an open platform. Firstly, invite quality overseas exhibitors. Many leading companies from electronic and household appliance, building material and hardware, machinery and equipment, food and beverage sectors in the US, UK, Germany and Japan will participate in the International Pavilion. Secondly Belt & Road exhibitors are the biggest participating party. We have totally 383 exhibiting companies from 21 Belt & Road countries, accounting for 60% of all exhibitors. Thirdly, hold global networking event for International Pavilion. We will take the opportunity of released Development Plan for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and invite relevant commerce departments of the greater bay area, foreign consulates general, chambers of commerce and associations from home and abroad, overseas trade promotion organizations and overseas partners and agents to discuss on the cooperation opportunities and promote integration of business resources in and out of the greater bay area. Fourthly, increase invitation of domestic specialized buyers. We’ve enhanced online and offline integration and mobilized social media, government and industrial resources, and stepped up invitation to large supermarkets, e-commerce platforms, import supermarkets and other specialized purchasing parties.
   Xu mentioned that in this session we’ve stuck to the principle of “innovative, specialized, targeted and delicate”, focus on key sections and target markets, launch global promotion and buyer invitation in a targeted manner, to provide a more convenient attending experience, more secure transactions and higher return for buyers. Firstly, spur innovation and launch global promotion. We’ve carried out global promotion through social media such as Facebook and LinkedIn and search engine, and run advertising in professional media worldwide. Secondly, hold targeted promotion events. Based on specialized sections and target markets, we’ve adopted different strategies for different regions and countries and gone to 21 countries and regions for promotion; held 19 video conferences of Internet Promotion Campaign in 18 countries and regions such as the US, EU and B&R countries; expanded Canton Fair Global Partnership Program and deepened cooperation with 121 industrial and commercial organizations of 71 countries and regions; improved incentives for I-Invite activity and invitation of new buyers. Thirdly, pool resources and provide delicate services. We’ve stepped up our cooperation with international airlines and other organizations to provide more convenience and benefit for buyers’ accommodation, transportation and catering; improved CRM of VIP customers, provided individual services and improved customer loyalty; expanded trading services and held supply-buyer matchmaking activities.
   Xu said that in the 125th Canton Fair we will continue to improve information service, play Canton Fair’s role as a comprehensive multi-functional platform to boost quality development of foreign trade. Firstly, organize high-end conferences and forums. We will organize 20 events, covering the themes of international trade analysis, trade risk control, design and innovation, test and inspection, quality control, color trend, etc. At the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, we will work with Russia Consulate in Guangzhou and Fortune Magazine to hold Canton Fair (Russia) International Market Forum to discuss opportunities for China-Russia cooperation. Secondly, enhance leading effect of CF Awards. We will launch a new round of CF Award selection. With the goal of “leading innovation, building standards, creating brands”, we will stick to the principle of “authoritative, professional, just and effective”, improve selection mechanism, optimize the structure of judges and select products with outstanding value to produce an exemplary effect. Thirdly, promote open economic development of different regions. We will organize 50 promotion and trade matchmaking events for 30 provinces and cities, and arrange 8 regional industrial clusters to exhibit in a concentrated way. Fourthly, improve the effect of Canton Fair product design and trade activities. In this session we will welcome 100 design agencies from 15 countries and regions to participate in our design display and provide design services for exhibiting companies. We will also hold series of design activities to improve design capacity of Chinese companies and Chinese manufacturing industry.
   In this session we will continue to adopt a double-pronged approach: prevention and onsite handling to improve IPR protection and promote innovative development. Firstly, improve IPR protection awareness. Through summarizing the experiences, classic cases, and results, we will nurture a culture of “respect for knowledge, advocacy of innovation, integrity and law-abiding” to ensure that IPR protection concepts take root in people’s minds. Secondly, improve precaution mechanism. We will step up inspection before the show, exhibitors’ self-examination, formal notice during the Fair to cover all exhibition sections. Thirdly, improve professional service. We will invite experts of law enforcement department and trade dispute arbitration professionals of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou Municipality to station at the Fair, staff of chambers of commerce to assist the cases to make sure the cases are dealt with in a fair, just and strict manner. Fourthly, better the environment for case dealing. We will better the onsite environment for case handling; improve the image and recognition of the Station to provide convenience for right owners.
   We continue to advance “Smart Canton Fair” and accelerate the digital transformation of Canton Fair. We will launch PEAP for wifi connection and improve user experience, develop transaction statistics function in the mini program of Wechat so that exhibitors can report their transaction through mobile phones, optimize the overall style and distribution of Internet corners to ensure reasonable and convenient location, enrich the content of big data board and improve Canton Fair map display, improve registration system and introduce facial recognition technology, and launch pilot project of non-contact badge verification machine to improve the efficiency of entering the venue.
   We will continue to press ahead Canton Fair Green Development Plan 2.0 and improve green development. Firstly, move forward building a green standard system. We will draft national standard for exhibition industry and recommended catalogue for green custom-built booths, advance the release of national standards Evaluation Guide of Green Booth, Guide on Operating Green Exhibition and Requirements of Security Management of Venues. Secondly, strengthen exemplary and guiding effect. We will optimize the awarding model of green booth competition, enrich the awards and improve overall display; we will hold Canton Fair “Green Space” show to share exhibitors’ pragmatic experience of green innovation. Thirdly, strengthen the management and control of solid waste. We will popularize the usage of professional materials, issue methods on classification and dealing of solid waste, strengthen management and control of the whole procedure to reduce exhibition garbage.
   To implement the strategy on poverty alleviation by business development, we will continue to drive targeted poverty alleviation through business. Firstly, cancel booth fee for exhibitors from poor areas. It is estimated that more than 700 exhibitors accumulatively will participate for free. Secondly, we will set up the Traditional Chinese Specialties section. 170 exhibiting companies from 22 provinces and cities with altogether 190 booths will showcase feature products such as textile and garment, cases and bags, food etc. Thirdly, hold promotion event for Traditional Chinese Specialties section. To further improve exhibition effect, we will hold promotion event for this section on the first day of Phase 3. Fourthly, improve trading and negotiating service. We will strengthen section navigation, provide free interpretation service for exhibitors and also provide guiding and training on making transaction to support these companies develop global market.
   To reduce cost for exhibiting companies, we will collect booth fee according to the reduced standard of the 119th session, cancel 23 service fees, lay carpet for free to relieve exhibitors’ burden.
   Xu emphasized that we should have concept of secure development to ensure the stable operation of the fair. We’ve worked closely with relevant departments of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou Municipality to build a comprehensive security and prevention system; enhanced supervision of safe production and introduced big data technology to build three-dimensional, 24/7, comprehensive security system; strengthened booth management and cracked down upon “blacklisted agencies” to handle dispute on booth usage in a fast and transparent manner; enhanced management of on-site construction, fire prevention and power usage, refined our work procedures and closed security loopholes, and improved all kinds of emergency plans and our capacity.
   Xu Bing also answered questions of journalists on Canton Fair’s contribution to stable and quality growth of foreign trade, promotion of “Belt and Road” trade cooperation, highlights of the International Pavilion, contribution to targeted poverty reduction and national development strategy, and buyer attendance.
   In this session some key events are as follows.
   The Opening Reception of the 125th Canton Fair will be held in Westin Hotel in the evening of April 14th.
   Canton Fair International Market Forum “China and Russia: New Era, New Cooperation” will be held in the afternoon of April 16th.
   Canton Fair International Pavilion Networking “Focus on the Greater Bay Area, Share Global Opportunities” will be held in the evening of April 16th.
   Promotion event for Traditional Chinese Specialty section will be held in the afternoon of May 1st.
